Large antique English copper Cachepot, c.1800
A good example of an early hand made Cachepot. It has a wonderful untouched and unpolished over 200 year old patina. Hand beaten and riveted together. The rivets run all around the base and up one side to make a tight join. The raised rivets have a slightly worn finish. The bottom has been drilled for drainage.
