A beautifully preserved matching pair of vintage gilt-metal picture frames, crafted in a highly ornate Baroque / Rococo Revival style with scrolling acanthus leaves, deep relief detail, and a heavy, furniture-grade metal construction. These frames were previously owned by a woman in her early 70s whose grandmother originally displayed them — placing their origin around the 1930s–1940s.
Each frame includes its original integrated easel back and fits a 5x7 photograph or artwork. The metal is heavy, stable, and shows no rust, no deterioration, and excellent structural integrity—rare for pieces of this age.
STYLE & DISPLAY VERSATILITY
These frames photograph exceptionally well and elevate any space with antique charm. They blend seamlessly with:
Eclectic & Bohemian interiors
Maximalist styling
Victorian, Baroque, Rococo Revival aesthetics
Hollywood Regency & Antique Glam
Old World, cottagecore, and European-inspired décor
Tarah has displayed these in multiple settings—inside a 1920s China cabinet, on antique book stacks, beside vintage musical instruments, alongside crystal and brass décor, and framed with 1930s original photographs (photos not included but available by request for additional fee).
This visual adaptability makes them perfect for collectors, decorators, photographers, and set designers.
