This armchair is a beautiful example of the Dutch interpretation of the Mid-Century Modern style. Where many contemporaries opted for dark teak, this piece of furniture showcases the robust and honest beauty of solid oak. The light, warm tone of the wood gives the chair a fresh and timeless look that fits seamlessly into contemporary interiors.

The most striking detail is found on the sides of the frame. The construction of the legs forms a characteristic 'boomerang' line, a design element typical of the boldness of the 1950s and 1960s.
