The Cassina Chaise Longue with continuous adjustment (known as the LC4) is an icon of modern design, created in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Nicknamed the "rest machine," it is designed to perfectly adapt to the human body and promote optimal relaxation. This 1980s edition is dated based on its serial number combined with Le Corbusier's signature alone. (The LC4 chair was later signed by three people by Cassina.) It is in very good condition; the leather has been cleaned and treated with balm in several stages, resulting in a deep patina and a supple, satiny grain.
Maximum height 83 cm x Depth 160 cm x Width 55 cm.
Seat height 32 cm.
