- Most of the chairs have peeling paint, splintering in the wood in various spots, some chips, and sticky spots on … moreMost of the chairs have peeling paint, splintering in the wood in various spots, some chips, and sticky spots on the top from tape used to hold cushions in place. Some have a metallic vert-green hue where the gold paint has changed colors giving them a beautiful patina. Most show the original wood in various spots. Please see splintering and tape marks on the seats. See photos for shots of various wear. Of course, we were not able to show photos of all wear. Last few photos show chair with buckling and splintered veneer on seat, but with a cushion the chair will be fine. Chairs are sturdy. less
