The size is ideal for a low pair od side by side tailored Wm. (Billy) Haines - inspired custom chairs for Joan Crawford. The backs have a decorative and utilitarian as well - to easily roll from place to place as easch chair is also on four round ball brass casters (original to the design). Upholstered in a ivory short-hair synthetic Cryton boucle, they're tailored with self-welt trim beautifully. I've also seen them in cognac leather which was really gorgeous, too. See less
