A stunning and highly collectible piece, this vintage Chin Hua Armoire was designed by RAYMOND SABOTA for the prestigious CENTURY FURNITURE company, circa 1975.
This statement cabinet perfectly blends Hollywood Regency glamour with Asian Modern Chinoiserie aesthetics. Its towering, elegant form features dramatically figured BURL WOOD veneer on the door fronts, providing a rich, swirling grain texture that contrasts beautifully with the sleek EBONIZED (black lacquered) wood trim, base, and pagoda-style cornice.
The armoire is complete with its original, heavy, Asian-inspired BRASS HARDWARE, a signature detail of the highly sought-after Chin Hua collection. The overall look is one of luxurious East-meets-West modernism.
