A charming and distinctive faience vessel from the famed Henriot Quimper workshops in Brittany, France, circa 1930s, signed and numbered, FB Quimber 967. This hand-painted pot features the classic Quimper color palette—warm yellow glaze with rich brown accents—and is adorned on each side with stylized portraits of a Breton man and woman in traditional regional attire.
Crafted in a unique double-spouted form with an arched central handle, this piece exemplifies the folk artistry that define Quimper pottery. The hand-applied decoration is delightfully expressive, and the brown-glazed interior and trim lend a warm, earthy contrast to the cream-toned body.
Both functional and decorative, this piece would have originally been used as a cider or wine pourer, but today serves as a beautiful sculptural accent or collector’s item.
Can be accompanied by a Fan shaped napkin holder in similar design.
