French gilt wood armchair with a harp-shaped pierced back design and carved details, likely from the 1890s
This vintage item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of usel. Completely re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric
Description: A stunning An antique French gilt wood side chairs, dating from around the 1890-1900 period.
The quality is superb, they are beautifully made and have a gorgeous design. The pierced backs have a harp shaped design with fine carving and finials at the top corners.
We have cleaned the frames gently, they have acquired a wonderful patina with just the right amount of surface wear. We have also just had these completely re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age.
Measurements are about 33 inches height 18 inches wide 17 inches deep
