Extraordinarily stylish and … Read more Here we have a very rare set of six vintage Thomasville Mid Century cane back lounge chairs. Extraordinarily stylish and comfortable. Easy care black naugahyde seats are in excellent condition. Superb construction made in America, this is a very solid set. No damage, there is mild wear to the finish as would be expected with age and use, please examine photos. I don't know the species of wood, but the chairs feel quite dense and heavy for their size. A few of the cane backs have small bits of finish loss, but I don't see any broken cane. Original manufacturing tags and stamps on the bottom date these chairs date to the early 1960's. Some chairs are stamped 1961 and some are 1964. Please note these chairs are smaller in scale than newer armchairs.
