This … Read more A signed striking hand-painted art glass vase from ulrica hydman-vallien’s celebrated ribbon series for kosta boda, produced circa 1998. This piece showcases hydman-vallien’s unmistakable artistic language—bold, expressive, and instantly recognizable.

the vase features a frosted white ground adorned with yellow ribbons, accented by a contrasting green and black band encircling the narrow waist. Every brushstroke is applied by hand, giving the vase its vibrant, sculptural presence. It is signed on the underside “kosta boda artist coll ulrica hv 49801” and also bears ulrica's hand-painted signature near the base beneath the original kosta boda label.

a beautiful example of hydman-vallien’s work during this period, the vase remains in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks—an exceptional collector’s piece from one of sweden’s most beloved glass artists.
