French design 1950 Foldable armchair, designed by Andre Monpoix for Meubles TV. A combination of black metal with red plastic threads.
These types of chairs are quite rare and have that typical 1950s look, quirky and full of character, beautiful pieces of mid-century design history.
They are in good vintage condition.
One small repair on an armrest, please see the photo with the arrow.
The black metal has signs of wear, (after all, they are more than 70 years old) not too bad, it is also visible in the detailed photos. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
