Model No. 395 presented here is in its original condition; the chair has been slightly cleaned and refreshed while retaining its original colors and tones. A cast aluminum piece is visible at the bottom of the rear leg, installed to stabilize the seat laterally.
This model was not reintroduced to the market in 1948/50 when Fischel resumed its commercial activities.
Fischel never relied on designers; this piece would therefore be the result of in-house design by the company during its presence in France from 1922 to 1939 through its factory in Wissembourg (67). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
