This copper piece hails from the late 1800’s - early 1900’s and is most likely Ottoman/Balkan in origin. The handle is forged iron and riveted with copper. This was used in middle eastern cookware as a scoop or dipper. It is heavily hammered and the bottom was tinned as a separate piece.
Today, this copper piece adds old world charm as a decorative piece. Display it in a collection or fill it with fresh blooms for a small centerpiece.
