Made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester, it was one of the first designs to fully utilize new industrial materials. Its curved, organic lines evoke the architectural language of Antoni Gaudí, and it was named accordingly, as can be seen on the back of the seat where the original 1970s manufacturing stamp is displayed. This design is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

The pair is in good condition with some signs of age on its surface. They remain stable, and the four rubber feet on all legs have been replaced. This piece has an attribution mark,
