The Virgin is crowned with an added piece of chased silver of Peruvian origin, which enriches and distinguishes the composition. She carries the Child Jesus in her left arm, who holds a rosary, while she extends her right hand in a gesture of blessing. The dynamic folds of the brocaded mantle, with its vegetal decoration and gilding, as well as the serene expression of the faces, lend the work remarkable artistic quality. The cloud-shaped base with cherub heads is a characteristic feature of the Spanish Baroque.
