Original antique in good condition for its age, with signs of wear,

partially replaced, damaged, with missing pieces, shrinkage cracks, and old restoration (see photos). The piece has no active woodworm infestation. Photos are part of the auction.

Small antique softwood cabinet, beveled and painted – circa 1800

This charming softwood cabinet, dating from around 1800, impresses with its original historical appeal and the elaborately designed Baroque/folk art painting. The reddish-brown base color is enlivened by several cream-colored panels, hand-painted with floral motifs and delicate decorative elements – a typical feature of rural furniture art from the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The beveled edges, harmonious proportions, and authentic patina give the cabinet a particularly warm and inviting character. Inside, there is practical storage space with several shelves. The original wrought iron lock with matching key is another decorative highlight and is fully functional.
