Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern ceramic vase in beige and brown earth colors. with blue bird motifs. Design No. 21923 by Jørgen Mogensen made by Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. This beautiful heavy vase with Sung glaze is a great example of Danish ceramic art.

Jørgen Mogensen was hired by Royal Copenhagen right after he graduated in 1949. He worked closely with other great artists like Axel Salto, Knud Kyhn and Nils Thorsson. In 1965 he opened his own studio together with his wife Ursula Mogensen.

Signed and stamped under bottom.

Good original condition with no damage or repairs. 1st factory quality. Some natural occurring cracks in the glaze. This piece has an attribution mark,
