piece is made of oak, with a beautiful, golden oak-colored finish.
the back section of the inner part of the piece, has an oak- veneered finish, of the same color.

it has a wonderful, sleek design, with smooth, rounded angles on the edging of the panels, and rests on tapered legs.

the bookshelf has four compartments, each of which has 2, sliding glass doors, that are removable.

the upper compartment is the largest, and has a removable glass shelf. The 3 other compartments, are all the same size (all dimensions listed below.)

piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time and some slightly faded areas of color, on the overall structure, top (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective), side panels, legs, glass doors and shelves, back of the piece and edging (see photos.) a couple of barely visible marks at the rear edging of the glass shelf, (see photo). No cracks otherwise.

all of the glass doors are functional. A very small resistance on the glass door of the third compartment (from the top), that should disappear with usage.

piece is solid and stable.

all photos taken in natural, outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness of light, reflections from stone walls, gravel, and other structures on the glass doors, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
