Cast iron, … Read more A 17th-century iron bust depicting a boy with wavy hair wearing a tunic that leaves one shoulder exposed. Cast iron, it has a dark patina and is in good condition. Of Italian origin, it dates back to the 17th century. This antique iron knob in the shape of a human head was used as a handle on period furniture and was originally used as a chest of drawers, secured to the front of the drawer with a threaded rod placed inside it.
