The inside of the bowl features the so-called carnation decoration, with the flower standing out on the long, sinuous stem; a narrow band with trellis segments and flowering sprigs frames the central motif and marks the transition to the rim, which is adorned with two alternating floral compositions. Two fillets mark the edge of the composition of these two antique 18th-century majolica plates, 20 cm in diameter. Faenza, third quarter of the 18th century, in good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
