Exquisite French tapestry from the mid-20th century, featuring a beautiful design titled « Rendez-vous galant » ( Gallant meeting ) and nice colours, woven at renowned Jules Pansu workshops in jacquard looms by wool acrylic and cotton. This motif, which was created based on designs by Maurice Jacques and Louis Tessier, perfectly illustrates a kind and refined era. The original tapestries were woven by the Manufacture Royale des Gobelins from 1765.
