1970 Vintage Coronado Brown Leather Armchairs by Tobia Scarpa for C&B Italia
Outstanding pair of “Coronado” armchairs, an iconic design by Tobia Scarpa for C&B Italia (Cassina e Businelli, later renamed B&B) in the 1960s (this lot has been produced in the early 1970s).
The Coronado model represents one of the most recognizable and celebrated creations of Italian mid-century design, embodying Tobia Scarpa’s refined balance between comfort, sculptural form, and technological innovation.
Both pieces retain the original C&;B Italia label, confirming provenance and authenticity. Their solid construction and timeless design make them an outstanding addition to any vintage collection or contemporary interior.
