This delightful decorative object was … Read more A stunning 1970s italian tray basket hand-crafted in curved pencil reed, split cane and brass. This delightful decorative object was produced in italy during the 1970s by vivai del sud. The brass has been hand formed around the edge of the rim and has a lovely patina, as does the pencil reed, which has a gentle sheen. In lovely vintage condition with a wonderful honey colour. This tray is very sturdy and clean, and therefore can be used for storage, or purely as a decorative centre piece.
the company, vivai del sud was founded by three di pierri brothers in rome in the 1950s, branching out from landscape design to interior design in the 1970s.
measurements: 32cm diameter x 5.5cm h
