The plates bear a handwritten date on the back, placing them in 1920, and two handwritten letters in red, 'g' and 'p' likely the initials of the unidentified ceramist. Central italy, tuscany-marche area. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
