Three bowls with cream glaze, two with pale pink glaze. Central well with concentric potter’s rings. Decoration and form in the style of late Joseon period ceramics. Date: 19th century. Dimensions: Diameter approx. 17–17.5 cm. Condition: All in good condition with light signs of wear, minor glaze irregularities from production. Mark: Underside with hand-painted Korean mark. The Korean ceramic tradition spans over a thousand years and is particularly renowned for Buncheong ware and the white porcelains of the Joseon dynasty. Characteristic features include free, lively brushwork in underglaze, often combined with a simple glaze that enhances the decoration. Many works from the 19th century continued to be produced using traditional methods such as wood firing and hand-throwing, giving each bowl its own unique character. See less
