Japanese MCM champlevé bronze vase in the modernist and Art Brut style. Heavy shoulders with white blue, and red enamels coloring the birds. Beneath the waist are three bands with various motifs, the top band a field of traditional interlocking shapes. The next band abstracted birds into geometric shapes. the bottom band, fishes. Made in Japan 12" tall , 10" in diameter.
