Beautiful inlaid walnut lamp table. The fluted rectangular top has a detailed inlaid design. It gives a softer floral touch with a French flair.
It is an extremely nice item. Wonderful burl walnut on top. The skirt is pierced carved. The cabriole legs are carved on the knees and feet. The shape is a little unusual for this style and time period piece (more typical would be a round top.) Even the bottom cross brace although practical for more support is carved to add a beautiful element.
It is an extremely decorative and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction, although its style came from the previous centuries. It was probably made about the 1930's
