An exceptional work of vintage Chinoiserie wall decor. Spanning a commanding 30 inches in diameter, this round statement plaque features a base of solid wood finished in genuine, hand-applied gold leaf with a heavy, protective lacquer. The center artwork is a vibrant, hand-painted scene depicting a brilliant kingfisher bird in mid-flight swooping elegantly above rich indigo blue and deep emerald lotus flowers.
