A signed and numbered limited-edition etching by renowned German-French printmaker Johnny Friedlaender (1912–1992). This impression is #19 of 80, pencil signed by the artist along the lower margin. Friedlaender is celebrated for his pioneering use of color etching and layered abstract forms; this work displays his signature blend of surrealist structure, textured plate work, and atmospheric tonal shifts.
The artwork remains in its original mid-century frame with a metallic silver and wood profile. The mat shows visible tonal discoloration/ghosting, likely from long-term exposure—this does not affect the print itself but should be noted for accuracy. Frame has some knicks and scratches from the decades, as shown.
Measures 24.75" wide by 31.75" tall with a sight size of 17" by 23".
