Large 18th century Chinese export porcelain Qianlong or Chien Lung blue and white charger platter circa 1740. Measures 13 3/4" diameter. Nice ruffled rim with deep well. Decorated with a landscape of a large tree, peonies and a Chippendale fence. Mounted in the 19th century with a metal hook at the back for hanging on the wall. May be used flat on the table. Good condition.
A matching charger owned by Britain's National Trust is on display at Bradley Manor, Devon, England.
