This is a small decorative trinket box made of glass panels set in a metal (likely pewter or silver-tone) frame. It has an octagonal shape with clear glass sides and a hinged lid.
The lid is topped with a polished seashell—resembling a cowrie or similar shell—with rich brown and cream mottling, giving it a natural, organic focal point. The base appears to have a colored insert (possibly blue glass or felt), adding contrast to the otherwise transparent body.
Overall, it has a coastal, vintage decorative feel—combining natural shell elements with simple geometric glass-and-metal construction.
