Vincent Van Gogh Limited Edition Lithograph. Size: 49,5 x 63,5 cm. Titled: Sunflowers. Proofed on the presses of AWG 1937. Of a Limited Edition on fine laid paper. Watermarked by the presses AWG. Signed in the matrix (Van Gogh). This is a rare large-format original lithograph in full-color. Artwork comes with Gallery Prepared Documentation, which includes Authentication Certificate + Provenance.
Sunflowers is the name of two series of still life paintings by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The first series, executed in Paris in 1887, depicts the flowers lying on the ground, while the second set, made a year later in Arles, shows a bouquet of sunflowers in a vase.
This is a very rare lithograph from 1937 and is in excellent condition for its age (88 yrs.)
