A striking, architectural piece of Polish Art Glass from the 1970s, designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz for Huta Tarnowiec.
This object features a bold, totemic form composed of stacked geometric rings and cylinders. This "stepped" silhouette is a hallmark of the Memphis Group influence on Eastern European design of the era.
Crafted from solid opaline pink glass (selenium pink), it is versatile in function. With its wide, flat rim, it can serve as a statuesque candlestick (suitable for pillar candles or wide tapers) or as a sculptural bud vase for a single stem.
