Exuding timeless elegance and artistry, this exquisite antique Chinese calligraphy brush holder is masterfully carved from richly veined marble, showcasing a dynamic pair of stylized dragons—powerful symbols of wisdom, strength, and good fortune. The fluidity of the hand-carved details brings a sense of movement, beautifully contrasting with the stone’s natural hues of deep red, cream, and amber.
Crafted circa 1880, this substantial and weighty piece (approximately 4 pounds) was designed for both functionality and aesthetic refinement.
