Vintage 1970s American Hitchcock-style Windsor armchair featuring a black painted frame, contoured solid wood seat, and a hand-painted floral motif across the crest rail. Turned legs, gold accent striping, and gently curved arms add classic Traditional style.
Based on construction details, decorative finish, and the underside factory date code “6 75” (June 1975), this chair is attributed to Boling Chair Company of Siler City, North Carolina, a well-known maker of Colonial Revival seating during this period.
Works beautifully as a desk chair, dining head chair, entryway chair, or decorative seating in a library or reading nook.
