A beautifully detailed Palekh Russian lacquer box, titled “Gvidon” and signed by artist Kornilova (1992). This is an authentic Palekh Artistic Association piece with its original Palekh seal and Certificate of Quality (Serial No. 1945).
Rendered in the iconic black lacquer with fine gold leaf accents, the box features a fairy-tale scene from Russian folklore, painted with exquisite miniature brushwork. The interior is finished in classic red lacquer.
