About the poster: Part of a series of studies on the vase and bouquet, This lithograph poster explores the subtle variations of form and color. The artist deliberately repeated nearly identical motifs of vases, demonstrating how a simple change of palette can transform the entire atmosphere of a composition—and, by extension, the space in which it is placed.
About the artist: The Italian-born artist lived and worked in Paris, where he developed a prolific career as a painter and printmaker. From 1988 onward, his work was regularly exhibited at the prestigious Galerie Maeght.
