Offering a pair of substantial cast iron French Art Deco window or door grates. Often grates such as these covered a window in the middle of a front door, one in the center of each of the two doors.
They are quite heavy, befitting their French origins.
As you can see, the design is “restrained Art Deco” but classically stylized flowers. Very chic. Great to have affixed to a wall if you don't have windows for them! You'll wow your audience.
Cast iron is actually fragile; if it’s dropped it can crack. These being in perfect condition, I don’t want to risk sending them through the mail, no matter how careful the packaging. Hence the shipping by Chairish.
