Striking set of six vintage bar stools by Vecta of Grand Prairie, Texas. These sculptural stools feature slender black metal frames with dramatic curved wraparound backs and arms, geometric footrests, and round upholstered seats in vibrant red.
The open, architectural framework gives the stools a light, graphic quality while the circular seats and sweeping backrests soften the design. The combination of black and red creates a particularly strong Postmodern look.
The original upholstery backing retains repeated Vecta branding as well as the original Vecta manufacturer's label, providing excellent documentation of the maker.
A wonderful set for a contemporary kitchen, home bar, game room, loft, or commercial interior. Finding six matching vintage Vecta stools together is an added advantage for larger installations.
