Delightfully demure and nicely framed original Japanese Woodblock print in the form of a card. Mid century reproduction of a traditional Japanese ukiyo-e print that was common in the 16th to 18th centuries, the Edo period and featured scenes from everyday life. This one is of a Maiko, a geisha apprentice observing the snow.
Washi paper and chopped bottom left.
Nice frame detail, under glass with a duck egg blue surround.
