This set is cased pink and white blown glass. The outside of this set is hand painted with a floral and gilt design. It was usually used on top of a large fireplace mantle, or a large dining room buffet. At more formal dinners, sometimes they would be placed on the dining room table as a centerpiece. These sets were hand painted in studio by studio artist at the time of making. The centerpiece jar is approximately 21" to the top of the lid and 8" wide in diameter. The vases measure approximately 14-1/2" Tall and 6" around in diameter. They are in excellent condition for their age and again they are one of the largest set we have found. They would make an excellent focal point in any outstanding room. See less
