Beautiful 1960s robin’s-egg turquoise sugar and creamer set in Seagrove redware, attributed to J.B. Cole Pottery. Sourced in central North Carolina not far from the Seagrove pottery community, where the Cole family became known for their hand-thrown red earthenware pieces with soft turquoise glazes and brown rim accents.
The rounded silhouettes, turquoise glaze tone, and redware clay body are all characteristic of mid-century Cole studio work and make this pair wonderfully decorative in a kitchen, coffee bar, or display cabinet.
