Made of Mahogany & … Read more We are pleased to offer this gorgeous English Sheraton Hutch / secretary desk, from the 1860s.
Made of Mahogany & flame mahogany wood softly inlaid, featuring a bookcase top decorated with finials on top, two glass doors revealing one shelve inside.
The secretary comes with two sliding tambour doors one on either side, each one reveals two small dovetailed drawers on top and three cubbies on the bottom.
In-between the two tambour doors you will find a small door, reveals two small dovetailed drawers and two cubbies inside.
The lower section comes with a flip out desk lid (felt writing surface) supported by two pull-out support bars over four large dovetailed drawers.
All drawers are with original handles, drawers are clean and slides in and out smoothly.
The desk is standing on four sturdy legs.
Completely restored ( Refinished Hand French polish ), very sturdy and in great condition.
One original key and original locks, NOTE: the locks on the large drawers don't function.
