Bring refined Italian elegance to your space with this striking platinum ceramic centerpiece designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy, circa 1960. A standout example of Londi’s celebrated mid-century artistry, the piece showcases his signature balance of modernist geometry and handcrafted texture.
The wide, gently sloped form is finished in a rich platinum-toned glaze that catches the light with a soft metallic sheen. Around the inner rim, an intricate band of repeating incised motifs adds depth, rhythm, and tactile sophistication—an unmistakable nod to Londi’s mastery of pattern and surface design. The center remains smooth and subtly reflective, allowing the decorative border to frame the bowl like a sculptural relief.
