Offered is a set of 4 Wenge wood coasters or saucer plates designed by Jens Quistgaard.
The plates were manufactured for Kronjyden by Richard Nissen around the mid to late 1950s.
Jens Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and industrial designer active during the 1950s through 1970s, primarily known for being the head of Dansk's creative division.
Each saucer / coaster measures 3.875" in diameter, 0.5" high, and the cup or glass cut-out in the center is 1.875" in diameter.
