A vintage pedestal bowl in the “Oso” pattern by Corso dei Fiori, hand painted in Italian maiolica earthenware. The wide 11.5-inch bowl is raised on an integral foot and depicts a stylized goose against a warm ochre ground framed by cobalt borderwork and scrolling foliate accents.
Executed in tin-glazed earthenware with oxide pigments, the piece reflects the workshop’s small-batch production of functional table vessels during the late 20th century.
The underside carries the expected hand-inscribed mark associated with Corso dei Fiori. An uncommon form in this pattern, offering both sculptural presence and collectible appeal within the broader oeuvre of contemporary Tuscan maiolica.
