A vintage Italian maiolica serving platter in the “Casolare” pattern by Corso de Fiori, produced circa 1980s–1990s. The large 17-inch oval form is hand painted with a stylized Tuscan mission landscape framed by cobalt scroll borders and warm ochre ground in oxide pigments beneath a tin glaze.
The platter displays the characteristic brush-applied surface and hand-finished foot typical of small-batch Corso de Fiori production. A scarce oversized form in this pattern, suitable as a focal serving piece or collectible tableware. The underside bears the expected pattern inscription consistent with the workshop’s late 20th-century artisanal output.
