Measuring just 3 inches in height, this small-scale form represents a rarely seen variant within Ajka’s cut-to-clear production.

These miniatures were created in limited quantities for export gift sets and hotel bar service, making surviving examples uncommon—particularly in cobalt, Ajka’s most labor-intensive color. The piece displays classic Ajka cutting: starburst medallions, alternating miters, and deeply polished oval windows over a ribbed star-cut foot.

Miniature snifters of this scale were not individually catalogued, contributing to their scarcity on the secondary market. Provenance details unknown; acquired directly from a Northern California collection.
