The artwork is beautiful and the frame is in Very Good + condition ~ the notable condition issues include a small stain on the matte under the artist signature and very small black spots on the matte in areas ~ when looking very closely at the artwork, there are also some very light brown spots are visible ~ also, the glass itself appears to have a moisture stain on the inside that could benefit from cleaning and this (along with a matte cleaning or replacement) would require disassembling and reassembling the work ~ It is challenging to convey in words the beauty of this masterful work by Disney Artist Eyvind Earle ~ the frame and artwork are in Very Good + to excellent condition with the one notable condition issue is a small stain on the matte, just below the artist signature in the lower right corner, as shown in the photos ~ please see photos for condition details ~ tracking number included with all shipments ~ All items are from a smoke free environment. About the artist:

Eyvind Earle was an American painter and illustrator best known for his work painting the backgrounds of Disney animations. Born on April 26, 1916 in New York, New York, Earle began painting at a young age and had his first solo show in Paris at the age of 14. His oeuvre, often rendered in oil or through serigraph printing, depicted simple, imagined landscapes, often in dark blues and greens. Earle received the Windsor McCay Award for lifetime achievement in animation at the 26th Annie Awards in 1998, and was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2015. “For 70 years, I’ve painted paintings, and I’m constantly and everlastingly overwhelmed at the stupendous infinity of nature,” the artist remarked. “Wherever I turn and look, there I see creation. Art is creating...Art is the search for truth.” Earle died on July 20, 2000 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA.
